Office Action Response
GEIPER team helps corporations in drafting office action responses for their patent applications across various national offices including in United States, European Union and India. Our team adopts the following methodology for preparation of responses to office actions:
- Office action review: Our prosecution experts review the office actions issued by patent office to understand the claimed invention, objections / rejections and the prior art (if any) cited by the examiner.
- Response preparation: Following the review of office action, the prosecution experts prepare a response that overcomes with objections / rejections cited by the examiner.
- Conference call: The response is shared with the inventors and the patent attorney responsible for the case, following which a conference call is organized to confirm the arguments provided in the response and to discuss prosecution experts’ queries (if any).
- Response filing: Based on the conference call, the prosecution experts finalize the response and share it with patent attorney / IP law firm for filing with national patent office.
