Patent Validity Analysis
A Validity Search can be carried out if you are accused of infringing a patent or you are concerned that you may be infringing a competitor’s patent .
The search will look in detail at the claims of the attacking patent with the aim of searching for prior art to each of the claims. Thus it may be found that some or all components of the disputed invention (as detailed by the claims) were known prior to the filing date of the attacking patent and thus are invalid.
You tell us the patent number and the specific claim that you intend to invalidate. We then conduct the most comprehensive search of patents, published applications, technical publications, and/or any other available written materials that may be relevant to the patented invention. All publicly available documents and evidence of public disclosure prior to the filing of the patent application are examined and analyzed.
